This new construction-certified home was built by Moeller Builders, Inc., and all photography shows the furniture and accessories by Sue's Interior Designs. At the time of publication, not all design work was completed.

Sue's Interior Designs were featured throughout the three levels of this contemporary home. Furniture, accessories, positioning of the clients art work, rugs, carpeting, drawer pulls and more were combined to fit the lifestyle of the homeowners.

"My husband and I moved from Indiana to Midland, from a large home to a 1,100 sq ft two- bedroom apartment with minimal storage space. The apartment needed a solid surface upgrade for the floor, more lighting and painting of the walls. Sue MacKellar went above and beyond to deliver exceptional results. She supervised all the renovation including:

Selection and installation of new floor
Installation of electrical wiring and new ceiling lights
Painting the walls
Installation of new curtains
Finding perfect, beautiful repurposed living room furniture (French provincial) that coordinated with existing furniture
Added a fake fireplace with TV above
Upgrade of the kitchen: new countertops, painting cabinets, adding wallpaper
Renovation of second bathroom, appropriate for doing makeup and hair
Purchase of two repurposed desks/files for the office

The renovation is beautiful beyond our wildest dreams. When we first saw it, we were speechless. We love it!!!!! Sue is a creative genius, with an uncanny ability to find and coordinate everything beautifully. The living room and kitchen have a sunny, warm, light feel. A French provincial hutch was renovated with a blue backing and lighting that dramatically illuminates the china of Karyl’s mother. We were thrilled!

Sue listened carefully and met all our concerns and interests. We were blessed beyond with the skillful assistance of Sue and Ed in unpacking everything and organizing closets (with no extra storage), the kitchen and the office area. Finally, she hung our framed art and pictures with an eye for design, color and theme.

One of the residents called ours the “premier apartment” in the building. Indeed, it is! We are so blessed. I give Sue the highest recommendation: beyond excellent. The best part is that she was very careful and conservative financially in completing all the work."
